For the 2024 Multicultural Fiesta, we are excited to announce a NEW event and new way to be involved in this community celebration: the Your Story, My Story, Our Story Tour of Nations tent, named after the book of local immigration stories we published in 2019.
From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. during the Multicultural Fiesta on September 14, people will be able to walk through a display of tables that showcase items from different nationalities - touring the world without leaving St. James!
For this to work, we need VOLUNTEERS to share about their heritage. Please consider signing up at https://tinyurl.com/FiestaTourOfNations to host one of the tables and help people learn about your culture. We would love to see YOUR family's cultural artifacts on display! (For more details, click the link above.)
Para la Fiesta Multicultural de 2024, nos complace anunciar un NUEVO evento y una nueva forma de participar en esta celebración comunitaria: la carpa Tu Historia, Mi Historia, Nuestra Historia Tour de Las Naciones, que lleva el nombre del libro de historias de inmigración local que publicamos en 2019.
De 3:30 a 5:30 p. m. durante la Fiesta Multicultural el 14 de septiembre, las personas podrán caminar por una exhibición de mesas que exhiben artículos de diferentes nacionalidades, ¡recorriendo el mundo sin salir de St. James!
Para que esto funcione, necesitamos VOLUNTARIOS que compartan sobre su herencia.
